Our highly acclaimed Race to Win course has been developed and improved over the past year to provide a high level of training that is unrivalled in the industry. Utilising the diverse and substantial experience of the coaches and skippers involved, this course is designed to improve the standard of your racing skills to the next level.
The Race to Win course is now structured with the same syllabus as the training programme used by our successful 2006 British Commodores’ Cup campaign. Coaching is headed by Mark Rushall, RYA British Coach of the Year 2005 and the training will take place alongside Team Logic, our inshore race team.
The training will be a superb mix of on the water practical workshops, class room briefings, constructive video de briefs and seminars concentrating on tactics and the race rules. There will be a mixture of on the water coaching from a RIB and on board coaching from very experienced international Grand Prix sailors. Training alongside ‘Team Logic’ aboard Puma will provide the ideal opportunity to work on boat to boat tactics and manoeuvres.
This course is perfect for anyone who wants to improve their overall racing skills. It is aimed at a reasonably high standard and is a very comprehensive and informative programme. By the end of the course everyone should be very familiar and well practiced with many of the advanced race manoeuvres, tactics and rules.
