Introduction to Racing

Duration: 4 days over 2 weekends
Are you looking for an opportunity to have a go at yacht racing? There are very few opportunities for people with no racing experience to get a chance to go racing. At Sailing Logic Racing we have the perfect solution.
Our Introduction to Racing course takes place over two weekends and combines two days of training/teaching with two days of racing. The weekend starts on the Saturday morning when you will go out and work on teamwork and learn the basics of all the different manoeuvres. Then on Sunday you will put into practice all you have learned when you race in the Warsash Spring Series
Over the second weekend we will consolidate the teamwork and look at improving the boat speed by working on basic sail trim and weight distribution. This will be followed by another day of racing at the Warsash Spring Series.
This is an ideal way to get a taste of inshore racing. You will experience the excitement of close racing under the watchful eye of our experienced race skipper. After completing this course you will be familiar with the concept of round the cans racing and will ready to move onto the next stage.
