Team Logic is the concept of our Racing Director, Philippe Falle. It is the ultimate training and racing program and has been developed over the past three years utilising all the lessons learnt from our Commodores’ Cup campaign, Team Logic and the successful offshore campaigns.
Every team member will become a part of a focused and high aspiration team dedicated to pushing the team forward whilst building on their personal skills. The objective of the campaign is provide the team with a level of coaching and racing that will give them the experience and skills required to become a valuable crew member on many race yachts.
The campaign in based on a natural progression of training and racing. During the season the team will learn many of the intricacies of yacht racing with an emphasis on different aspects of the sport each weekend. Our carefully structured training program will provide top level coaching from leading British coaches and international sailors.
All the skills learnt will then be put into practice during the various regattas which will include Skandia Cowes Week, the IRC National Championships, Round the Island Race, Red funnel Easter Regatta and the Warsash Spring Series. The aim of the campaign is to gain podium positions at many of the major regattas, something that our 2006 team accomplished.
Team Logic is limited to eight places which allows us to spend quality time with everyone and provides the team with the opportunity to work in key positions rather than just being there for ballast. Philippe Falle, a leading coach and helmsman, will skipper Puma Logic for the 2007 campaign. Sara Stanton, an accomplished and very experience racing sailor has been selected as 1st mate.
If you want to be a part of Team Logic then why not get in touch with Philippe who will be more than happy to discuss it with you and offer friendly advice.
