This five day introductory course is for the complete beginner, as well as a great starting point for those with some dinghy sailing or cruising experience. The course has been designed specifically to teach the basics of seamanship, safety, helming and general living aboard a boat thus enabling you to understand and enjoy your sailing.
By the end of the five days, you will confidently be able to hoist and change sails, manoeuvre the yacht by tacking and gybing, helm effectively, reef the mainsail, keep a safe lookout and very importantly, be able to tie those essential knots.
