Its been flat out all week, here at Sailing Logic, as we have been working hard to get the fleet ready for the first Fastnet training weekend- we certainly can’t believe its that time already!
The yachts are polished and sparkling and we are going to be spending the afternoon moving them round to Ocean Village. The new Sailing Logic flags will be flying from the forestays too so they should be easy to spot!
There looks set to be some good breeze for the weekend and we might even see some sunny spells!
Dinner for 75 people is booked at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club on Saturday evening and a world famous yachtsman is the guest speaker for the evening.
The Sailing Logic Team are really excited about this weekend are really looking forward to meeting all the crew tomorrow morning.
BRING IT ON!!!!!

A great weekend, force 5-6, gusty loads of rain...could not have been better. Top night on Saturday at the Club then some spit and sawdust bar in town.
Seventy revellers led in boogy dancing by Philippe [offcial nickname 'Fender'], Nigel and Chris Reddish of 'Lion' as pole dancers.
Hangover at least force seven, mind you lager, gin and tonic, wine, jack daniels and vodka can do that to you. Nigel's open-mouthed snoring sent two of our guys to sleep in their cars amd woke up small children in Hamble.
Lion went like a greasy dolphin until we tore our main, which is now to be turned into crew bags. Still the new kevlar arrives soon so we didn't cry...much.
Warm up that Podium place guys, Lions are going to be first over the line!!!
See you next time, Fastnetters, watch our fantail. - 7:14 PM

Don't get too cocky Lions.....you'll have some stiff competition! And you'll have to rein in your skipper as he was last seen throwing various First Mates over his shoulder in the Frog & Frigate - is he trying to gain a tactical advantage here by taking out the competition?
